I have been bitten by the organizing bug. It all started since moving with only five boxes (really should do a post on that, life changing!). I have learned that it is much easier to organize when you have less stuff. Much more fun too! I found some pretty genius ideas on Pinterest that I had to share. Be sure to click on over to the posts, as most have more great ideas :).

- You scrappers are going to love this idea! Hang projects in progress, with the things that go with them :). Paper Lust has an entire post showing different ways to organize a scrapbook room.
- Necklace Organization by Lauren from A Full Measure Of Happiness on Arianna Belle Organized Interiors – have you seen this blog? It makes my heart do a leap! She actually declutters and organizes for a living :). Apparently this is a series where she features bloggers and unique ways they organize….yes, I subscribed.
- Hang your shoes! Full Shoe Hanger Tutorial on EPBOT , I am all over this one.
- Hang up your cleaners in a spray bottle with a tension rod under the sink. The genius behind it.

- Hang magazines and newspaper from pretty clothes hangers from Better Home And Gardens – they have an entire slideshow of organization ideas!
- Hang your purses with shower rings in your closet – again, from Better Homes and Gardens, another slideshow with great organization ideas.
- Hang a bucket with a scrolled shelf bracket and store all sorts of stuff. Found on Coisas da Orlas.
How about you, any great ideas for organizing? I would love to hear it :). Leave a link if you have one!
Happy Monday friends, here’s to a great week!

Such awesome ideas. I especially like #4. I’m going to be doing this one as soon as I can!
LOVE #4
#1 is also a great way to keep sewing projects together.
Thanks, Destri!
I’ve been on an organizing kick all summer. These look fantastic. My best move yet? I got rid of that so-called wrapper keeper and put all my fabric ribbon on wire hangers to hang in the closet. I now have all my wrap in a plastic hamper….which is surprisingly easier. Also? I am officially banned from buying anymore fabric ribbon. It’s ridiculous.
Best,
Tina
LOVE the necklaces and spray bottle ideas! Fantastic post (and I’m not all that neat :) )
I’m off to buy a couple more of those tension rods – one for under the sink, one for the bottom of the linen closet, and one spare, just in case I find another place to put one!
I definitely want to hear about moving with only 5 boxes! Thanks for the great organizing ideas~
Fun ideas–have you seen this one?

I’m toying with the idea of trying it out….not sure where I”ll put it, but it looks so fun. :)
I did see that, it is great. And I can’t believe the original was $300! That blew my mind. I can see kids having fun putting toys away with that one :)
Love #7! I have a thing for buckets and pails! Would love more ideas on how to organize a clothes closet. Almost bought a store closet thing from IKEA, but had reservations it would not fit. We have a very old school closet (the kind with the sliding doors). It is hard to organize and is always cluttered.
“I have learned that it is much easier to organize when you have less stuff.” – I have found this to be so true as well. So much goodness in this post, thank you!
Oh I´m happy to see this post. Thanks!
Wow, people sure keep a lot of crap in their houses. I just use my kids’ monkeys in a barrel to hang my five necklaces on.
Great ideas! FYI, #4: http://jengrantmorris.blogspot.ca/2010/09/under-my-sink.html
Thank you!! I added it to the link!
Thanks for featuring my tension cord post (and for calling me a genius!)
