For one year I wrote down something every day that I was grateful for and loved about my husband. Then presented it to him for Christmas. Isn't it amazing what happens when we only look for the happy things. Seems as if they just come at you from all directions.

Love this little site. You are a gem.

I know what you're saying Aubrey. I feel the same way when I go for a while without writing in mine as well, and then I think to myself Wow, it really is such a simple thing to do. So how is it that I ever fall out of the habit? I should have put a link up for a site with cutsie gratitude journals eh? Dang you hindsight!

Thanks for the great reminder Candace! Last November I wrote down 3 things that I was grateful for everyday...I don't know why I didn't keep it going. I haven't read them for awhile...it is definitely a time to reflect on all that we are blessed with. It's time to go buy a gratitude journal so I can keep them all in once place!

Nakole,

Please don't ever apologize for "rambling"...not on my segment sister! You can't say enough here:) I loved your comment. Especially because I do indeed have an i phone, and would love to download that app! It is strange almost, how as mothers we can have so many of those little moments throughout the day that take our breath away and we think Oh, I will never forget this...it is seared into my memory forever! Then like an hour or maybe two (if you're lucky) later you can't for the life of you remember what the blazes happened. It's a good possibility that may be just me...let's keep that on the down low emkay? Thanks for stopping by, and for sharing the fabulous hint!

To be perfectly honest I've been a hit and a miss with my gratitude journal in the past. However, I notice that when I am consistent in keeping up with it, it seems as though the blessings just pour in. Some may say that just comes as a natural result of being more "aware" of those positive aspects in your day, and I'm sure that is definitely part of it-- but I also feel that when you are focusing on giving thanks each day, for those things that bring you joy, ( however great or small they may be) you draw more blessings into your life.

Thanks for stopping by!
