I’ve been excited to share these adorable candle holders made out of baby food jars since last week!

These are so easy, cheap, and fun to make!
Supplies:
- empty and clean baby food jar
- colored salt (mix desired about of salt with food coloring and stir until it is the color you want it)
- buttons, ribbon, flowers, etc.
- hot glue (parental use only please:)
- mod podge
- paint brush

With the hot glue gun, embellish your jar how you would like. After embellishing, spread mod podge all over the jar.

Then sprinkle the salt all over the jar to cover it. Allow them time to dry.

Put a tea light candle in the jar and watch the colored salt sparkle!
I’m excited to have discovered the colored salt….oh the fun things you could do with it! Stay tuned, there may be something soon!

Hey Aubrey!
Fun idea – I’ve done something similar with food coloring and sugar, but I think that salt is definitely a better choice! Thanks for sharing.
