Hello! I’m back! I’m sorry for my leave of absence here on The Mother Huddle. Destri has been running a one mama show here, isn’t she amazing? Seriously!
It’s been a whirl wind the last few weeks returning home to Texas from the DC area. It’s not about to slow down as I’m busy getting my baby ready for kindergarten (sniff, sniff), putting my girls room together because they are now sharing, and getting ready for baby girl #3 to be born in 6 weeks! I’m excited to share what I’ve done to the girls room…more on that to come later.
Today I wanted to share a few ideas on some fun crafts to do with cotton balls. I love cotton balls because they are cheap, fun, and there a lot of different things you can do with them.

Here is a bunny that my girls and I made that was super easy. The only supplies need was a paper cup, cotton balls, glue, pipe cleaners, buttons, and paper for the ears.

Here is also a little lamb that was given to my daughter at church. She is so excited to be able to make another one. All you need for this one is a toilet paper roll, paper for the head, cotton balls, googly eyes, glue, and q-tips for the legs. Another easy one that doesn’t need much of any explanation.
Tina has a couple great activities using cotton balls right here on TMH; Power Of Play | Goal! and Power Of Play | Cotton Ball War. Both activities help with impulse control and increase self esteem.
I also found these baked cotton balls at Kiboomu. What a fun site that I just happened upon! These baked cotton balls look like a lot of fun.
Here is another cotton ball bunny found over at No Time for Flashcards. There are always a ton of fun things here to do with the kiddos!
Deborah from Teach Preschool had fun Painting with Cotton Balls in her class. Again, another great site.
Don’t forget to let the kids use their imagination. Give them some paper, glue, and cotton balls to see what they create.

Great post Aubrey! Ahhhhh a million things you can do with cotton balls. And scotch tape. Really. Honest.
Best,
Tina
Holy smoke woman, welcome back hunny but really 6 weeks to go and you have just moved back to the hottest and most humid place on the planet – remain sane and go create some breast pad with those cotton wool balls – you’re gonna need them when Missy number 3 arrives.
Big hugs and smiles
