Don’t fret though, I have you covered with a super easy diy project coming up that even includes a kit – yay! In the meantime here are some old Diy Father’s Day gift ideas from our archives and some of my favorite places on the web to help you get a jump on it. Enjoy!
Diy Father’s Day Gifts They’ll Actually Use And Love
Oh this is a favorite diy gift of mine! It’s a golf ball sling. You drop the balls through the top, then when one hits the pond, just pop one out of the bottom. I have had a great response from this idea – even had an offer to make a bunch for a celebrity golf tournament in LA! If you have a sewing machine you can sew this – super easy. Papas in your family that are golfers will love this one, guarantee it. Golf Ball Sling Tutorial.

This genius idea comes from Lil Blu Bloo – have you met Ashley? She’s nothing short of amazing on too many levels, defiantly get acquainted. For this great Diy, she turned a composition notebook into an ipad cover. It’s such a great look, and so easy! Diy Composition Notebook turned ipad Cover tutorial and photo by Lil blue boo.

Okay, I am so in love with this diy for a couple reasons. My husband has been begging for a new soft couch pillow for ages now. I made him one a couple years ago that was perfect for afternoon couch sleeping and it has become a little ratty – plus he has a bunch of “vintage” high school shirts that he can’t let go of. This will be perfect to put one to use, he’ll love it! Turn a T-Shirt Into A Pillow Tutorial and photo by the sweet Mrs. Disney with Ruffles & Stuff.

This will be done in my house for sure. My little ones are just learning to write, and I love the way my little guy transposes the k in Hank sometimes. I guess it would make more sense to write Daddy. Hmm…maybe both? Anyhoo, can’t imagine a better Father’s Day gift than his kid’s handwriting saying good morning with his cup of coffee…oh that’s it! Good Morning Daddy. You read it here folks. Custom Painted Mug Tutorial and photo by the amazing Ez of Creature Comforts.
Not only is this Diy Pocket Watch great for dads, but especially perfect for Grandpas. You can gather pictures of all the grandkids and then but a ring on it for him to clip on his key chain. Diy Pocket Watch Photo Album Tutorial by me!
Well, that should help you get a jump on your handmade Father’s day gifts.
