Fall Sewing Tutorials

I am working on 4 sewing projects at once currently, and have decided I need to be a little more, um…searching for the word…focused?  Yes, that will do.  The problem is I get started on one, get that pattern drafted, and then think I will work on it the next day. Then the next day I have another brilliant idea, and lose track of where I was the day before.  Sound familiar?  Anyhoo, I decided today that there was one in particular I need to get wrapped up for Fall, so your sewing machines can give it a go before the cold weather returns.  Wish me luck!

In the meantime, you can keep your sewing machines humming with any of these tutorials.  Some are mine, others are friends of mine and all are perfect for the cool Fall weather.  I have listed some for girls, boys, and the mammas too!

What about you?  Please tell me I am not the only one that suffers from a little sewing ADD.  Come on, be honest!

Will be back tomorrow with a fun one!

Oh I sooooooooooooo have sewing ADD right now. I keep starting projects, then putting them to the side before I finish it to start a different project. Wrong on so many levels, must get through this! HA

Thank you so much for including the quilted jacket in your round up!!! Can’t wait to see what you have up your sleeve for tomorrow Des!

Phew, so glad I am not the only one! And it’s your little square neckline tunic that I can’t wait to give a whirl – cutest thing I have seen in awhile!

Aww – thanks Des! I had missed that. I have had e-mails from a few people now with pics of their version of that top, so so cute! I love it when people use the tutes we offer, makes you feel so good to see them! I hope you do get around to making one of them :).

I love those pants! Ugh. With the holidays coming, I feel like I have so much to do– and don’t know where to start. (except, of course, for buying too much fabric! )

Yes! That is my other problem – I have let my mind wander to the Holidays! And don’t even get me started on the fabric :)

I have to work on whatever sewing project I feel like at the moment, or else it just isn’t fun and relaxing. I figure this is the whole point of a hobby, right? This is how I justify my very short sewing attention span. :)

Thanks for the fall sewing round-up. I visited all of the links and made lots of new pins. I appreciate the inspiration!

Love your site and all the ideas! Thank you.
I am trying to find a pattern for a jumper 4T…
Jumpers are so versatile….

I would love to test one of your patterns! I have been sewing since I was about 5 when my grandmother tough me how to make doll clothes. I spent 2 years in collage making woman’s clothes, constructing patterns etc…
I moved from Sweden to the US 11 years ago. I have been sewing a lot here and used to have my own company making baby and toddler bedding and nursery accessories.
Now I am learning to read patterns and make things for my little grandson.
