Fun Ideas For The Fourth Of July

by Destri on June 15, 2011

I think I might throw a party this year for July 4th.  Might being the key word here.  I am right in the middle of wallpaper removal bliss, among other things, trying to get my house ready to sell.  So really, planning a party in the midst of that seems logical :).  Well…fun anyways.  Being on Pinterest just makes you want to throw a party – so many great ideas!  So maybe I will just throw one in my head and start here.  Care to join me?

These really are some fun ideas though, and would be great to take along to a Fourth of July Barbeque.

Oh, and if you want an invite to Pinterest let me know in the comments, I would be happy to send you one!

Red White and Blue Chocolate Covered Strawberries from All Recipes pinned by Lainie

Festive Mason Jar Kids Cups from Two Shades Of Pink pinned by Katie

Also here are some free July 4th Printables from last year, and Aubrey had her kids make some stars to hang…super simple and cute!

Hi there,
Love your blog and I would love an invite to pinterest if you’d be willing to share. Thank you so much & good luck with the wallpaper removal. Our house was completely covered with it when we moved it. I found hot, hot tap water with a bit of Dawn sprayed and left to soak for a bit to be the most effective remover on the backing.
Cheers,
Amy

Thanks Amy, I have been just using hot water, but wiping it on with a cloth – why did I not think of spraying it on?! I have one entry left to go, but it is a big one, so thank you!

I would love an invite too! Such cute simple ideas! My whole house is decorated patriotic, so I’m a little partial to all things red, white and blue!
Thank you!!!

gorg as ever…..don’t forget Canada Day on 1st July…… gotta wave the maple leaf flag now I am almost a permanent resident!!!

Be good to hear of all the other ‘Days’ that our readers celebrate in each and own country……April 23rd is St George’s Day in ENGLAND… note not Scotland or Wales which have their own saints days…….

Now let’s get that list going…….

Smiles from rainy Canada…..boo
