I don’t know how I missed Lier’s felt cut out cookies when they first came out, but when I saw the piping bag she added to the kit I knew what I was doing today. Of all the things I have made my little ones, those cookies get played with the most. Between me and the kids they get pulled out at least once a day. Lier used the Felt Cut Out Cookies Tutorial and added the piping bag and instead of the box made a bag to package it all up.

She has a few tips for making the piping bag on her post, with a tip on how to keep the point of the piping bag stiff. I love that she used a bag instead of a box like I did, it makes them perfect for packing and taking on the road. The 15 minute Fat Quarter Drawstring Bag Tutorial would be perfect for this.

This is the most adorable thing I’ve seen this morning. I love it! My first thought was “how do the sprinkles get out of the bag!”. Must have caffeine.
LOL! I can completely relate :).
Absolutely adorable!!! I can’t wait to try making this for my little girl! Thanks so much for sharing! :-)
I’m with everyone else…hands.down.adorable! Thanks for sharing! This is truly a unique and gorgeous idea!!!
And kudos to YOU, Destri, for the original idea! It is perfect, perfect, perfect. I’d seen this cut-out-cookies-from-felt-dough-sheet elsewhere but hers was the version that was (finally) exquisite enough to inspire me to actually make it. Thank you, Destri- my kids play with their set a lot, too!
