*Update* I posted a detailed tutorial for the Dolman Sleeve Shirt Here.
The lovely Jessica from Me Sew Crazy invited me to be a part of her New Years ReSewLution series, and I jumped right on it as I had a few things I was trying to commit to this year.

One of which was to sew more for myself, and then share here. All I have to say is all those style bloggers make this whole modeling thing look easy. I was trying my hardest to channel my inner Disney, but man – it’s going to take some practice! Poor Suzanne was patient with me, I am not a big fan of being the one in front of the lens, I much prefer to be pressing the button!
Anyhoo, do you like the shirt? Come on over to Me Sew Crazy to see all the details! While you’re there be sure to check out everyone’s ReSewlution projects, Jessica had an amazing line up and I was honored to be a part of it. And if you are one of our sewing enthusiast readers and have not yet been introduced to Jessica’s sewing haven – you’re in for a treat!

I love this shirt! I’m trying to imagine if I can figure it out without any pattern … but I’m not a confident sewer for my own clothes because tops rarely turn out for me. But I just love this shirt!
Thanks so much! It would be really easy to do with any long sleeve shirt. Just lay it down and bring the sleeve down on the underside like the tutorial shows, make it big at first and then you can always take it in. Have fun with it, it really was super easy! Let me know if you give it a go, I would love to see pics!
You are the cutest Destri! I love that video – ha! Thank you again so much for being a part of the Series, I love how the Dolman came out!!!
No, thank you! And Dolman! I had been trying to remember that for days and it was driving me insane!
I really like your approach to this Destri! It’s very freeing, isn’t it? Besides that, it looks adorable on you :) Thanks for the inspiration!
Yes! It makes me want to sew more. I think I get a little overwhelmed with all the big projects I have to work on…so I avoid it all together sometimes. This will be a good way to mix it up. Thanks Cassi!
you may not feel comfortable in front of the camera, but you certainly look good in front of it!!!

Thanks dear! And guess what! I started on something for you this weekend…here’s a hint…it swings from the hips ;) Call me! I don’t have a phone other than my cell. Miss you!
Oh I do love these photos Destri, who took them?…LOL Really you look fabulous girl and the shirt is great I want one too.
Thanks Suz, so glad you could take these for me! We will have to make you something :)
So cute Destri! I’m very impressed! You look smashing and your photographer is amazing! :-)
Oh you are so gorgeous! And I love how genuine you are in the “outtakes”. Still gorgeous, though.
Beautiful girl! What a fun top. I seriously need to start some sewing for myself as soon as things calm down a bit. :) Love the new blog look.
You are so cute! Love the moving pics!
