Old-Fashioned Fudge Frosting

Old Fashioned Fudge FrostingThis frosting recipe is simple and the perfect additions to my Aunt Vera’s Brownies. It also taste great drizzled over a chocolate or yellow Bundt cake. My other favorite use for it is on Texas Sheet cake. It is definitely a must have frosting recipe to keep in your arsenal.

Old-Fashioned Fudge Frosting

Ingredients:

3 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
5 tbsp evaporated milk or cream
4 tbsp cocoa

Directions:

  • Bring butter, evaporated milk, and cocoa to a boil
  • Beat into powdered sugar
  • Add vanilla
  • Spread on cake or brownies while warm

Would you half this recipe, too, if only making a 9×13?

Would half & half totally destroy the consistency?

Yes. and I think the frosting would still turn out great with half and half.
