“The pumpkins are here, the pumpkins are here!”, is what I heard from my kids last week when we arrived at the store to find huge boxes filled with pumpkins. We are big Halloween fans around my house, with quite a few fun traditions that make the Holiday seem more like a month long celebration rather than just a night about candy. A family favorite is the Dinner In a Pumpkin recipe that Maria posted years ago. I am so glad I got a hold of this recipe when my kids were young, it will be one that’s handed down through the years I am sure. The “pin it” button is linked to the original recipe – you’re welcome :)
I am especially excited for this year with both of my kids at a prime age to really get into the fun of the Holiday. I think I will have to add a few new things to the list just to shake things up. Any ideas on new traditions?
I’ll share a new list when I have it together – until then be sure to check out all the fun Halloween crafts and projects from years past – I love love the Halloween Finger Plays and Songs!
I have a bunch more Pumpkin Recipes here and be sure to check out the comments, as the community shared some of their favorites too.
Maria will be back in a bit with a fun new monthly series – so keep an eye out :)
