On The Agenda…

by Destri on November 4, 2010

We have a few things coming up.  Fun stuff.  Such fun stuff in fact that it has left us little time to talk about it.  First up is this….

A week full of alternative recipes for Thanksgiving.  Alternative you ask?  Well, let’s put it this way.  You are going to your moms for Thanksgiving and she assigns you the green bean casserole.  We have an alternative that will knock their socks off, maybe even their britches.

Or maybe you are having Thanksgiving at your house and you want to surprise your kids with something other than the usual semi-dry turkey.  You really hate cutting the turkey anyway, and who could blame you, it’s not a fun job.  We have you covered.  It will be the star of the show.  When was the last time you could say that about the turkey?  Pie always wins, right?  Not this time.  Tom will take the cake.

And stuffing?  Banish the box!  We have done some serious research to track down the best stuffing out there.  We’ve tested it.  And my mama tested it.  It’s worthy of your table, pinky swear.

And lots lots more.  All next week.  We’ll share a few traditions along the way, and some ideas to make the day about more than just the food.  We even have some fun ideas for the table.  Cheap and easy ones you can pull off in no time.

Then we have this other series coming up….

You guys, I am so excited about this that I may just make a button to celebrate.  I never do that.  But this one, well it’s special.  Pure goodness.  Tutorials, recipes, traditions, all so good they are one of the best memories our guests have of the Holidays.  Keep an eye out.

Last but certainly not least, we have oodles of tutorials (like double digits) for your handmade ambitions this coming season.  Easy and practical ways to add a little something special to your gift giving line-up this year.  We have really tried to cover everyone.  Grandma, Grandpa, mom, dad, sister, brother, your brother from another mother, you get the idea.

Okay, I really better sign off before the girls read this and wonder “what in the world is she getting us into?”  “And brother from another mother? Honestly.”

Oh the things they put up with. ;)

Anyhoo, great stuff planned.

Now if we can just pull it off! :)

Can’t wait! Hopefully any sewing tutorials will be super super easy as even sewing straight is a challenge :P But I’ll give it a go!
