Quick Tip :: Perfect Paint Trays

by Aubrey on September 5, 2012

If you’ve ever poured paint for your kiddos to paint with on a paper plate, you know how it can go from colors of the rainbow to brown in about five seconds.  Instead of using plates, save all those disposable trays, egg cartons, and anything else like it for use as a paint tray – they work great. Plus, you can still toss them when they are finished or rinse for another use.  This also works great for glue, glitter, or anything else pourable you dare let them play with :).

Happy painting!

This is a pretty cool idea, I really like the separate sections…typically I’ve just recycled old sour cream, yogurt, etc… container lids. Now that my kids are older and they don’t just mix all the paint colors together, we like to use ice cream container lids.

Every time I see your posts I find myself asking “why didn’t I think of that?” LOL! So simple and easy….
