Re-purposed Cargo Pant= Cargo-licious

I found the greatest tutorial byAnna from Noodlehead on how to make a handbag out of cargo pants.   I actually sewed again!  It’s not the best job, but hey I’m learning and if I can do it then anyone can.  The great thing about re-purposing is if you mess up that’s okay because you didn’t go out and buy the fabric it was something you were tired of and going to get rid of anyway.  This sewing thing could grow on me,  I think I might make a couple more of these in different colors.

My bag turned out a little different then the tutorial.   I used two cargo pant pockets for both sides of the bag and the handle I used the waist-band of the pants.  I also changed the sides to contrasting fabric.  Look at me changing things up when I don’t even know how to sew, pretty daring huh?
