marvellous Miranda. My eldest has reaped the benefits of having a speech therapist in out lives. I have been on a steap learning curve to help him - for for frustrated parents of frustrated toddlers I know that we can use your expertise! Thank you.smiles

Oh how exciting! What a great idea. I just started composting a couple of months ago so I'm excited to use it in the garden! I'm a speech therapist for kiddos under age three and I have a two year old at home. I hesitate to use the word "expert" but I sure do have a lot of tips for facilitating your little one's language! Can't wait for How-To-Sundays!

Did you also know that if you plant a garlic bulb under a rose it helps prevent the infestation of aphids! Better than pesticides and they are so pretty!

I envy your crocuses by the way. Our garden is looking a little dull. With the exception of scattered tennis balls which provide at least a little yellow of spring cheer!

knitting, photos and refinishing old furniture. Got it! parenting education is a good one. In the long term it helps everyone. Love the idea and as for travel research, I'm all in for that. We have another big move this year - end of June - north of the boarder so may just tap in for any idea on a person scale!! Keeping my sanity to save that of the family!
Err my little guy has just handed me a dead fly so I think that means I'd best go and give him some mummy time!! TTFN

So excited! We just started clearing off our front-yard plot! Not sure if I want to plant or just let it run wild again! Our crocuses are up and still cause me to double-take, as I can't believe winter is almost finally OVER! Last year we got a bunch of wild garlic and I've read the blossoms are edible, so I'm tempted to just let them overrun our space! :) At any rate, YAY! Can't wait to read this How-To article!

Thanks for the shout out. My little piece of the blogosphere may be dead, but I will rebuild. I just have to lick my wounds and start from scratch (with a little research about privacy first).
That being said, I have ALWAYS wanted to learn how to knit (don't laugh at me Destri because you KNOW I can't sew!) I have also wanted to learn how to take beautiful pictures and refinish old furniture. I have a ton of OLD inherited furniture and no idea what to do with it or how to do it....it seems very overwhelming.
Along with being a play therapist, I teach parenting education too, and parenting ideas have become a recent obsession of mine. (Now that mine is 3 and a little tougher to handle...LOL). I also research travel a lot, and I love to talk travel with other moms...
Looking forward to the gardening post. I think my little guy will really like it!
Hugs,
