I’m on vacation right now and going to the beach today so with the beach on my mind I thought I would give some beach-y ideas. While searching for fun ideas I came across this website Seaside Inspired it is full of things I’d love to have. It also has given me some inspiration for making some shell napkin rings, shell spheres, and shell wreath, and these great cocktail skewers.
Entertaining with a beach theme is the perfect way to bring the beach to you if you can’t get to it . Why not invite friends to come over for a beach party. Party ideas are endless, the party could be inside or out with some shells, sand and some ambient lighting you could be virtually there. At a fun blog called Gourmet Gals the ladies did a beach inspired dinner that was sure to bring the beach to you. I absolutely love this table scape

A party wouldn’t a party without some fun games. Beach games are usually outside like beach volleyball or flag football but if your party is going to be inside then find a few beach inspired ideas like ” what shell am I?” When each person comes to the party they are given a name and picture of a shell to wear on the back of their shirt until they can guess what it is, this will get guest talking to one another and break the ice. Whatever you do have fun with it and enjoy the Summer.
