In short, I am a stay at home mom, enjoying every minute I am blessed to spend with my family, and I work a little on the side. I love my husband, a lot…really I do, he is my rock. I cherish my children and love watching them grow. I know a little about most things and a lot about hardly anything.

i think your name is one of those classic utah names that is the combination of your parents names… but i am coming up zeros trying to figure out what the two names could have been… dusty and teri maybe?
Ok that is so funny you say that, a lot of people say a Utah name! Even funnier, my dads name is Dusty, that is not where my name came from, but wow, you’re good!

Okay okay, so since you’ve been doing my hair for 6 years now….I feel stupid because I have no idea where your name came from. All I know is that I think it is unique. Mine used to be unique….until I got older I never heard it before. It’s either a family name, or a movie star that your mom liked!!! (That’s how I got mine, Gone with the Wind). Destri….all I can think of is a boy I went to high school with. His name was Destri. I don’t know why he got it either
I plan on being in Utah over Christmas vacation…and my kids need a new picture something fierce….it’s been oh….approximately 2 years! My youngest was still a baby for crying out loud!

so I googled it and came up with only two names…none of which I am sure you are named after. One is some italian dude named angelo destri and the other Jimmy Destri who was a singer/songwriter/producer. I know i’m totally off. But love the name.

Destri- your site turned out so cute! i love it already. I love your name but have no idea where it came from, except maybe your mom knew someone named Destrin, because I used to work with a boy named that back years ago! And you might like to know that I’m considering another baby sometime in the future, and if it were a girl, Destri is on the top of my list- so unique! And decided this is what ur name was going to be. Cause mom named me not because she wanted a boy, cause she never did want any boys. My name is a name that she loved and that is why I have it. Love this giveaway. Wondering if your name came like mine, from a beautiful black-haired baby with ringlets that my mom used to baby-sit. She was hoping I would be all of that and more. Sadly I have straight, white-trash, light brown hair. But dang I am awesome.
