Christi, I couldn't agree more. When we are having one of those days, it's amazing how just heading outside can turn a day around. Thanks so much for sharing!

I love this! I'm a mother of three (Hayden 3, Maddison 2, and Jack 4 months). Recently I've started taking my children outside to play everyday for at least an hour. Some days we're outside for up to three hours at a time! They love being outside, and I love having the chance to really get their imaginations going. Sometimes we just cuddle in the hammock, even having a snack picnic makes them so HAPPY!

Just having this time where my children have the opportunity to explore the outdoors and really PLAY makes me unwind. My youngest loves the outdoors already, and I have some very high energy creative youngsters on my hands. It's amazing how active their imaginations are, and joining in makes it easy to forget all the petty things we tend to dwell on! I've also found that getting all that energy out helps my children take direction better. Which in turn helps me keep on schedule and in tune with their needs.

[...] Another point worth mentioning is that the Mother Huddle was also a killer Weekly Blog on All My Faves, and that’s why it scored a Weekly Fave last week and a blog post this week. Great job Destri and Aubrey! As for me, I really enjoyed reading Balance and Simplify (Bullet List). [...]

I just stumbled across this site, and this link caught my eye. I taught a lesson last week about the six areas of wellness that we all need in our lives for provident living/well being: physical, spiritual, emotional, economical, intellectual and social. All your points just strengthen my belief that balance = a key aspect to happiness, so thanks for yet again reminding me of that and sharing some new tips for me to incorporate in my life :)
