What a list! I would say that the life lesson I have benefited the most from would have to be realizing and truly believing that no matter what, it’s all going to work out. It’s said a lot, but everything happens for a reason. I may not know what the reason is right now, but somebody does…and he’s in charge, and he knows what he’s doing! I used to stress out all the time about things that weren’t going my way or trials I was facing, and now I just sit back and watch it unfold…it always works out in the end

After reading your list Marta, you have inspired me to create my own. I absolutely loved your list and I think related to every single one of them…except the stash of sweets idea…time to incorporate that one!! It’s something I’ve wanted to do, but haven’t ever taken the time. Thank you so much for sharing your words of wisdom with us here on The Mother Huddle!! I enjoyed reading your list and I also try to have small gifts on hand, they are mostly homemade things or small inexpensive thing that I might like to recieve. (ie. homemade jam or jelly, vinegars, lotions, soaps, cards & notes) I live far from town so it helps me when I’m in time crunch. I also loved the photos that are on your blog you are right up there with the professionals in my book. Thanks for sharing your talents.

i love the idea of having a stash of ready-to-give gifts sitting around somewhere. i’d especially like to do that with homemade things: brownie mixes already in jars, handmade mitts and/or bags ready to give to someone, stuff like that. i’ve always wanted to be the person that brings a present to every hostess at every party i’ve attended, and this could just be the way to do it!
