Turkey Crafts

by Aubrey on November 18, 2009

As I tried to come up with the perfect Thanksgiving craft…I ran into so many different turkeys!  It is a popular one for this time of year.  :-)  I had all intentions of having them all posted here, but as life happens…the sniffles, coughs, and flu bug have entered my home.  Yuck!

So…a huge thank you to Jileen for sending me this picture/craft idea.  To find instructions on how to do this on Kaboose.  One thing that you will notice different about this turkey is that there are different sized feathers.  This is a family handprint turkey where each person in the family traced their hands.  What a great idea right?  I think it is neat, and definitely something I’m going to do…once we are all feeling better.

I am certainly not going to take credit for this – I got it from my cousin’s blog. I just think they are so cute! Our family is making them today – hooray! Aubrey, I hope you and your sweet girls are feeling better soon!

This is soooo cute! My 6 year old daughter will LOVE making this. And I love that you used every one’s hands in the fam for the feather spread!
